boringwife.world is an anonymous peer-support community for people navigating relationships, marriage and everyday emotional life. This policy explains what personal data we handle and why.

Email address — used only to send your one-time sign-in code and essential account notices. It is never displayed on posts, replies or profiles.

Nickname (pseudonym) — the public name shown beside your stories and replies. Do not use your real name.

Date of birth — collected once to confirm you are 18 or older. We store the date and the moment you confirmed it.

Content you post — stories, replies and likes, plus the time they were created.

Technical data — IP address and request timestamps, used strictly for abuse prevention and rate limiting on sign-in.

To operate your account and passwordless sign-in.

To verify that every member meets the 18+ requirement.

To keep the community safe: automated moderation screens posts and replies for vulgar, abusive, threatening or identifying content.

To generate AI counsellor perspectives and route stories to licensed counsellors who volunteer replies.

Story text may be sent to our AI provider to generate persona replies and to run moderation checks. We do not send your email address, date of birth or IP with that content.

Licensed counsellors see only your nickname and the story text. Their replies are reviewed before publication.

AI and counsellor replies are supportive guidance, not therapy, diagnosis or legal advice.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. We share it only with the infrastructure providers who host the database, send authentication email and run AI moderation, and where the law requires it or where there is a credible risk to someone's life.

Posts and replies remain until you delete them or ask us to delete your account. Sign-in rate-limit records are purged automatically within 24 hours. Deleting your account removes your profile, nickname, email link and date of birth.

You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Change your nickname from your dashboard, or contact us to request deletion of your account and content.

This service is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed and their content deleted.
